In this workshop, we will delve into the life cycle of an employee within a company, analyze all key stages, their importance, and significance for both the employee and the company. We'll discuss why these processes cannot be ignored or sidelined. In the practical segment, we'll explore examples of how to systematically and effectively organize these processes, and exchange cases and experiences. Ultimately, with this workshop, the aim is to convey a simple yet crucial point: is not a samurai who has no goal, but only a path. Employees need guidance, goal-setting, and motivation to achieve them.

    Workshop Structure:
  • Introduction: The employee life cycle and your role in it (why it shouldn't be exclusively delegated to the HR function, but rather involve your active participation)

    1. Onboarding
  • What it is and why it's necessary.
  • The role of mentors and managers in this process.
  • Onboarding plan: examining examples and tools for organization, discussing the basic workflow.
  • Common mistakes: share cases and experience, interaction with the audience.

    2. Development for assessment
  • Culture and values as the foundation for developing company-required competencies.
  • PDP as a career guide aligned with business needs : analyze an example and the tools how it can be organized, discuss the basic workflow with the plan.
  • Feedback: communication that connects people and aligns their expectations.
  • 1-2-1 meetings as a cornerstone of people management

    3. Offboarding
  • The process of offboarding a person and why it is important.
  • Offboarding plan: examples and for organization, discussing the basic workflow.
  • Common mistakes — sharing cases and experience, interaction with the audience.
