As software developers, we’ve been told many times not to reinvent the wheel and instead use established ways to work. But is this universally true?
In this presentation, I will share my experience building a React app without any npm dependencies, implementing my own version of the tooling and libraries we usually use when creating such apps. I will talk about the pros and cons of doing this and share one interesting outcome of such an experiment in detail.
