Observability is one of the important properties of any modern production-ready system. The monitoring system is a strong foundation for the site reliability practices. And it’s always a challenge for developers to adopt the valid metrics collection approach. I will try to explain the metrics usage basics and will demonstrate how to use Prometheus in .NET applications.
