In Wix, we spent a lot of effort trying to optimize the Frontend Developer experience. One of the biggest challenges was to improve the way Developer communicates with UI/UX specialist and is trying to replicate what designer created in a separate tool. But what if we’ll change roles a bit? What if designer will create UI and UX using similar tool and developer will take care of the application logic? We’ll dive into developer experience in Wix, our experiments, and findings which finally help hundreds of developers save their time so they can focus mostly on business application logic — the thing they really love.
