Dev Dairy: 30 years of web evolution [ukr]

Modern frontend isn’t just about frameworks or trendy libraries. It’s about understanding how we even got here — and why the journey unfolded the way it did.

This talk is a lighthearted yet painfully familiar existential crisis of a frontend developer. We’ll start with simple DOM manipulation, walk through jQuery, SPA, React, and end with some thoughts on server-side rendering — with the help of a certain Twitter thread that turned out to be wiser than most textbooks.

Spoiler: it all started when the backend wanted to control the HTML again.

No silver bullet promises — just an honest retrospective, solid technical context, and a couple of memes about jQuery UI. For those who love code, stories, and sometimes find themselves wondering: how did we manage to make things this complicated?
