Workshop description:

The transformers have caused a change of paradigm within NLP and are impacting other domains as well. In this workshop, Thomas will give a brief recap of the importance of transformers and transfer learning, and will then talk about open science efforts as well as tools to enable people to work collaboratively in their Machine Learning projects. Finally, Thomas will show how to build ML demos collaboratively, opening the doors to building ML portfolios and showcasing work to stakeholders.

Approximate duration: 1,5 hours. Starts on May 5, at 2:30 p.m. till 4 p.m. (GMT+3).

The event will be held in English.

The workshop is run fully online, using Zoom and various online collaboration tools.

Audience:

This workshop will be useful for developers, who are interested in Machine Learning.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Python
  • Conceptual knowledge of ML

In order to better follow the workshop, it is better to have:

  • A google Colab account
  • A Hugging Face Hub account
