This is the online workshop about how to implement Cypress the most effectively in 2020. Do you need to use it and what hidden hazards to expect.
The workshop will be interesting for junior/middle level QA and everyone who has not worked with Cypress yet. Effective use and implementation will be considered.
The number of places is limited to 35 participants.

- How the all-new Cypress architecture changes the approach to testing and makes writing tests faster and more enjoyable
- In what case, you should NOT use Cypress
- Overview of the main Cypress components
- Writing the first tests, running and setting up
- Running on CI and connecting third-party services
- Increasing productivity while writing tests
In this workshop you will understand what Cypress is. Will write your first tests, understand how they work "under the hood" and will be able to implement Cypress in the most effective way in the near future.
All participants will receive homework - to cover one control Cypress tests. After completing the homework, the speaker will check it and comment.
Requirements for participation
The workshop will be held in Russian in Zoom. Please install it on your device.
Required software:
- Node.js 10.3+
- IDE with typescript support (ideally — vscode)
