A few years ago, I often found myself struggling to keep up with the relentless task of creating Architecture Decision Records (ADRs). Even with a template and well-defined processes in place, the post-meeting follow-ups required significant time and effort to document each decision accurately. Each technical discussion meant a battle with motivation to ensure the records were complete and useful.
Fast forward to today, leveraging my past experiences and the power of Large Language Models (LLMs), we now have the capability to semi-automate these routine operations. By building custom GPT models, we can drastically increase productivity and improve the quality of documentation, turning what was once a tedious chore into a streamlined process.
