Crash Course: AI-native observability

How to find problems in production in minutes, not hours

Mentor – Yozhef Hisem, Solution Architect at MacPaw, 10+ years of experience.

Crash Course: AI-native observability
Crash Course: AI-native observability

Modern systems consist of dozens of services, queues, databases, and external integrations. When a problem occurs, it is not enough to simply open the log and look for an error. You need to understand how the entire system works, where bottlenecks occur, and how to quickly find the Root Cause.

In this course, you will understand the modern approach to Observability through Logs, Metrics, Error Tracking, and Distributed Tracing. A separate focus of the course is the use of AI for incident analysis, anomaly detection, and accelerated problem diagnosis.

Mentor - Yozhef Hisem, Solution Architect at MacPaw Inc.

What you will get at the end:
  • A holistic understanding of Observability — how to combine Logs, Metrics, Error Tracking, and Distributed Tracing into a single monitoring system, rather than using them separately.
  • The skill to quickly find the Root Cause in complex distributed systems with dozens of services, queues, and external integrations, instead of chaotically reviewing logs.
  • A practical approach to using AI for incident analysis — finding anomalies, correlating events, and accelerating problem diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of how to build or improve your own Observability strategy in a team/company based on the real experience of a Solution Architect with MacPaw.
  • A checklist of actions in case of an incident is created - where to start, what to look at first, how to reduce the time to resolution of the problem (MTTR).
